His nemesis is Wilson Fisk, the Kingpin — a crime lord with genuine ambitions of civic improvement and an inability to be anything but a monster. Season 2 introduces Frank Castle, whose family was murdered in a botched operation and who responds by killing criminals rather than arresting them, and Elektra Natchios, tangled up with a shadowy organisation called the Hand. Season 3 introduces Benjamin "Dex" Poindexter — Bullseye — an FBI sharpshooter with a severe personality disorder and perfect aim, who Fisk identifies and manipulates into becoming a weapon.
The crime boss behind everything is Wilson Fisk / Kingpin — the Netflix Daredevil villain, formally imported into the film universe. Maya shoots him; he survives.
Echo (SERIES, 2024) — Maya Lopez returns to Oklahoma and her Choctaw family after shooting Kingpin. She connects to ancestral power passed through her maternal line and confronts Fisk, who genuinely loved her as a daughter. Relevance: bridges Fisk from Hawkeye into Born Again.
Bullseye kills Foggy Nelson in the opening — on Vanessa Fisk's instruction, revealed later in a flashback. Matt abandons the mask and returns to law. Wilson Fisk runs for Mayor of New York and wins.
