Cosmic, and the antagonists
He Who Remains
Kang
Kang the Conqueror and Victor Timely are other variants of the same man — not other names for this one. The ledger pairs them on a single row; the films keep them separate.
Who they arebeyond the guide
A 31st-century scientist who discovered the multiverse, watched his own variants fight a war across it that destroyed nearly everything, and ended that war by isolating a single timeline and pruning every other — then ran the TVA to keep it pruned. He is not Kang the Conqueror. He Who Remains, Kang and Victor Timely are three variants of the same man, and this one says outright that he is not the conqueror; the point of Timely, a nervous inventor with a stammer, is that the variants are not all warlords. Sylvie kills him at the end of Loki Season 1, which is what opens the multiverse.
Dead, and the character is retired — Jonathan Majors was fired and not recast
